Equipment

  • Blender
  • Glasses
  • Ice cube trays
  • Jug

Ingredients

  • One medium ripe banana
  • ¼ cup of raspberries
  • ¼ cup of blueberries
  • 2 cups of plain yogurt
  • A tray of ice cubes

Instructions

  • Assemble all your ingredients.
  • Wash your fruits
  • Put your ingredients inside your blender.
  • Blend until smooth.
  • Pour into a jug and serve.

Notes

  • You can opt to use flavored yogurt over a plain one. You can go for vanilla, strawberry, or any other that will blend well with the other ingredients.
  • You can also opt to use milk if you like your smoothie lighter. Coconut, soy, almond, and oat milk can be alternatives if you are on a plant-based diet.
  • You can do away with milk or yogurt and use water instead, that is, if you don't like the taste.
  • In this recipe, I used natural fruit; you can use fruit purees instead. However, to get the real taste using fruits is a better choice.
  • If the smoothie is not sweet, you can add honey, although it might be overly sweet.
  • You can choose the number of berries, especially those you prefer most.
  • You can enjoy the smoothie best when served cold. Apart from using ice cubes, you can refrigerate it for 30 minutes and then take it.
