Starbucks Classic Syrup Copycat Recipe

Kai Jordan
I learned how to make this syrup at home. I will share the recipe in this post and you can start making it at home, too. Enjoy!
Cuisine American

Equipment

  • Stove
  • Saucepan
  • Spoon
  • Jar

Ingredients

  • Sugar
  • Water

Instructions

  • Place a saucepan on a stove and set it on medium-high heat
  • Add one part of water and two parts of sugar and stir the two ingredients
  • Continue stirring until the water simmers
  • Give the ingredients enough time so that the sugar dissolves completely
  • Once this happens, remove the saucepan from the stove
  • Allow the classic syrup to cool to room temperature
  • Transfer it to a container or jar and use it on your beverage

Notes

  • Since classic syrup is not a drink, you cannot customize it.
  • If you make more than enough classic syrup, you should store the rest in an airtight container and then place it on the counter.
  • It can also last longer if you refrigerate the rest.
  • Since this syrup is quite sweet, you only need to add half a teaspoon to a drink.
