Equipment

  • Jar
  • Electric kettle/ stove top
  • Cocktail shaker
  • Blender
  • Cup

Ingredients

  • Coconut milk
  • Strawberry puree
  • Raspberry syrup
  • Ice
  • Tazo passion tea bag
  • Water
  • Non-fat milk
  • Vanilla syrup

Instructions

  • First, place water in your kettle and let it boil.
  • Once done, keep the passion tea bag in your water, and allow it to mix well.
  • Now put the ice into your cocktail shaker, pour the passion tea and shake vigorously.
  • In your big cup, pour in the iced passion tea and add the raspberry syrup. You will also include coconut milk and strawberry puree.
  • For a final touch, add the milk and vanilla syrup in a blender and blend till frothy and creamy. This will be your cold foam to add on top of your drink.

Notes

  • When I first tried this drink, I used 2 tea bags for one serving, It was not as good as using 1 teabag. Therefore, it would be good to stick to a teabag per serving.
  • Because you are preparing iced tea, boiling your water to completion would be a waste of time and electricity. Simmered water will do just fine.
  • Simple syrup is the best sweetener to use for iced drinks. For this case, put sugar and water in a saucepan and let it simmer on low heat as you stir until the sugar dissolves. Then let it cool. Although unsweetened passion tea is usually what is used at Starbucks, if you wish to sweeten your refresher drink, then this simple syrup will do.
