Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons of instant coffee powder or granules
  • 2 tablespoons of hot water
  • 2 tablespoons of sweetener of choice - honey, swerve, vanilla syrup, or maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup of unsweetened milk of choice (almond milk, soy milk, coconut milk, or any seed or nut milk)  

You can adjust these measurements according to the amount of sugar-free Dalgona coffee you want to make, but always ensure that you use equal parts instant coffee, sweetener, and hot water. You will also need kitchen equipment like an electric mixer.

Instructions
 

In the following directions, I've used granulated swerve and coconut milk as my sweetener and milk of choice.

  • Put 2 tablespoons of instant coffee, 2 tablespoons of granulated swerve, and 2 tablespoons of hot water in a bowl.
  • First, beat the mixture at medium speed to create a froth. Steadily increase the speed of your electric mixer until the mixture attains volume and medium-stiff peaks. Lower the speed of your mixer and hold for a few seconds to stabilize the foam.
  • Pour iced coconut milk into a glass until it is 3/4 full. Spoon the coffee foam and place it on top of the milk.
  • Serve immediately to experience the full, fluffy texture.

Notes

  • You can sprinkle your glass of sugar-free Dalgona coffee with cocoa powder or cinnamon.
  • You can top it with sugar-free caramel syrup for a tastier and more flavorful drink.
  • When your coffee is creamy, fluffy, flavorful, and beautifully layered, gently stir it to mix the Dalgona with the milk and enjoy!
