Ingredients
  

  • Chocolate sauce
  • 2g of protein powder
  • One banana
  • Greek yogurt
  • One cup of water
  • ¾ cup of Brown Sugar
  • ¾ cup of White sugar
  • One teaspoon of Cinnamon

Instructions
 

  • The first step is to make the cinnamon dolce syrup.
  • You pour water into a saucepan and add both brown and white sugar.
  • Please bring it to boil, then lower the temperature as you stir.
  • Add Cinnamon as you stir, which thickens over time.
  • Please remove it from the heat and pour it into a jar.
  • Let it cool for 30 minutes.x
  • Let it cool for 30 minutes.
  • After your cinnamon dolce syrup cools down, prepare the rest of the ingredients.
  • Assemble all the other ingredients: chocolate sauce, protein powder, banana, and yogurt into your blender.
  • Blend until smooth.Refrigerate. Best served when cold.

Notes

  • I preferred using Greek yogurt over milk for the home recipe to give it a thicker texture. You can choose milk instead.
  • If you like yogurt, you can choose a flavored one: vanilla, strawberry, or chocolate are good options.
  • If you are a vegan, you can use almond, soy, oat, or coconut milk—in which you can add some vanilla syrup to bring out some sweetness.
  • You can add a shot of espresso to achieve some coffee taste in the smoothie.
  • One banana may be less for you. Therefore, you can use two bananas instead.
