- Pour 4 cups of clean water in a saucepan and place it in a high heat source 
- Add 12 cloves, 3 cinnamon sticks, 3-star anise, 2 teaspoons of ground nutmeg, and 2 teaspoons of ground ginger 
- Let the mixture boil and allow it to simmer for 5 minutes 
- Remove the saucepan from the heat source, add 8 tea bags and allow to steep for 6 minutes 
- Remove the teabags 
- Strain the concentrate 
- Add 1.5 teaspoons of vanilla extract and 7 tablespoons of honey and stir thoroughly until the honey mixes 
- Allow the syrup to cool and pour it into a glass bottle
