Starbucks Valencia Syrup Copycat Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 3 oranges
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup water

Instructions
 

  • Use the vegetable peeler to peel thin zest strips from the oranges.
  • Boil water and pour over the zest strips.
  • Drain after 30 minutes and boil sugar and water in a saucepan.
  • Simmer and add the strips to the mixture.
  • Remove from heat and let it sit overnight.
  • Strain to separate the syrup from the zest.

Notes

Refrigerate the syrup for up to two weeks in an airtight container.
