Here is a simple copycat recipe for making Starbucks Orange Syrup at home

Ingredients
  

  • Filtered water
  • Sugar
  • 3 Oranges

Instructions
 

  • Gather all your ingredients and place them near your workstation.Wash your oranges and slice them into pieces.
  • Place them in a saucepan, and add equal parts of sugar and water.
  • Place your mixture on top of your stove, stir and bring to a boil.
  • Lower the temperature and let it simmer
  • Turn the stove off and allow your mixture to cool.
  • Sieve the mixture into a jar.
  • Store your orange syrup through refrigeration. Add in your desirable drink.

Notes

  • Choose ripe oranges; avoid green ones, as they produce bitter syrup.
  • Measure an equal amount of sugar and water, so it is not too sugary or tasteless.
  • Refrigerate to maximize the syrup’s shelf life.
  • You can buy a plastic container with a pump that will make it easier to use.
