Starbucks Maple Syrup Copycat Recipe

This maple syrup’s main ingredient is the sap from the xylem of maple trees.
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp. maple flavored extract
Place the saucepan on the stove and add water, brown sugar, and white sugar
Set the stove on medium-high heat and wait for the mixture to boil
Once it boils, reduce the heat to medium-low
You can now add maple extract and then stir
Simmer the syrup for at least 3 minutes until you achieve a thick consistency
- Since Starbucks maple syrup is not a drink, you cannot customize it
- During preparation, you can add 2 cups of brown sugar if you want it to be thicker
