This syrup is made using natural flavors, citric acid, potassium sorbate, water, and sugar.

Ingredients
  

  • Water
  • Cocoa powder
  • Sugar
  • Almond extract
  • Vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Place the saucepan on the stove and add water and sugar
  • Let these ingredients simmer and give the sugar enough time to fully dissolve
  • Once it does, turn off the heat
  • Add almond extract and cocoa powder to the Irish cream syrup
  • Use a whisk to mix all the ingredients
  • Allow the syrup to cool before using it on a drink

Notes

  • You can use granulated sugar as you prepare Irish cream syrup
  • Unsweetened cocoa powder is great when making this syrup
  • If you have more than enough Irish cream syrup, store the rest in an airtight container and refrigerate it.
