Starbucks Gingerbread Chai copycat recipe

Equipment

  • Tea kettle.
  • Mixer

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup of almond milk.
  • ¼ cup of water.
  • ½ teaspoon of cinnamon.
  • ½ teaspoon of ground ginger.
  • Chai tea bag.
  • ½ tablespoon of maple syrup.

Instructions
 

  • In a tea kettle, boil water and then pour the water into a cup and let the tea bag steep for about 8 minutes.
  • In a mixer, combine the remaining ingredients for about 4 minutes and pour the mixture into a mug about ¾ full.
  • Fill the mug with the hot chai and enjoy.

Notes

  • Replace the almond milk with your favorite kind.
  • If you have the Starbucks Gingerbread ground coffee or K-cup, prepare an espresso and add it to your Gingerbread Chai for the authentic Starbucks flavors.
  • Use your favorite chai tea bags.
  • Adjust the amount of the spices depending on how spicy you want your drink.
