Starbucks Earl Grey Latte Copycat Recipe

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Tea kettle.
  • Whisk

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup of water
  • 1 tablespoon of vanilla syrup
  • 2 tea bags of earl grey tea
  • ½ cup of whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of dried lavender flowers

Instructions
 

  • In the tea kettle, brew the lavender flowers and earl grey tea bags and steep them for 4-5 minutes.
  • Remove the tea bags and strain out the flowers.
  • Add the vanilla syrup and honey into the earl grey-lavender tea and stir thoroughly until well combined, then pour the mixture into a large mug.
  • In the saucepan, warm the milk until hot, but don't let it boil.
  • Using a whisk, froth the milk thoroughly.
  • Pour the frothed milk into the mug with the tea and spoon the froth. Enjoy.

Notes

  • Replace the whole milk with any other kind of milk you enjoy the most.
  • Use as many tea bags in your latte as you want, depending on how flavorful you want the latte.
  • Adjust the amount of dried lavender flowers to suit how rich you want the lavender flavors in your latte.
  • Use as much vanilla syrup as you prefer to match how sweet and rich you’d love your Earl Grey Latte.
  • Feel free to use any other sweetener you enjoy besides honey, and use as much as you want, depending on how sweet you want the latte.
