  • Milk frother
  • Espresso machine
  • A teaspoon or matcha scoop
  • Sieve Glass bottle, cup, or mug

Ingredients

  • Starbucks matcha tea blend
  • Milk
  • Ice cubes
  • 2 Espresso shots
  • Whipped cream
  • Vanilla syrup
  • Chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Use your espresso machine to make two espresso shots and store them separately.
  • Prepare your matcha by adding 3 scoops of matcha to hot water and whisking with your chasen until it all dissolves.
  • Froth your milk in a separate glass.
  • Add your matcha to a tall glass that will be used for serving, preferably one the size of a Starbucks Grande cup, to serve as the base.
  • Fill it halfway with ice cubes, frothed milk, and espresso shots.
  • You can then add your favorite syrup to make the drink sweeter.
  • Finish with whipped cream and a few chocolate chips for decoration.
  • Serve and enjoy your beverage.

Notes

  • If you are vegan or lactose intolerant, you can use alternative milk. Choose plant-based milk, but remember it may change the drink's taste.
  • Add some syrup of
  • your choice to make the drink sweeter and more flavorful. You can also add whipped cream or other toppings of your choice, but this is optional.
  • If you don't have a whisk, a fork will suffice, and to froth without a frother, place your milk in a bottle and shake it until it froths.
  • You can also use Frappuccino syrup instead of espresso shots to add caffeine to your drink.
  • To cut calories, eliminate whipped cream and syrups, and use as few espresso shots as possible (each shot contains 3 calories).
