Starbucks Demerara Syrup Copycat Recipe

This syrup is made with demerara sugar, preservatives, and water.
- 1 cup demerara sugar
- ½ cup water
Pour the sugar and water into the saucepan
Place the mixture over high heat and then simmer for two minutes, or until the sugar is melted.
Remove from heat and let it cool.
Pour the syrup into a glass jar and refrigerate.
- You can use granulated and demerara sugars to have a lighter, rich syrup.
- If you want a thin syrup, use a ratio of 1:1.
