Starbucks Coconutmilk Cascara Latte Copycat Recipe

Equipment

  • Espresso machine

Ingredients
  

  • 1 oz Starbucks Espresso Roast ground coffee
  • ¾ cup of Coconut milk
  • 1 Tbsp. of Dark brown sugar

Instructions
 

  • Prepare 1 shot of espresso by brewing the coffee in the espresso machine. Steam the coconut milk either using the espresso machine or a steam wand.
  • Pour the steamed coconut milk and espresso shot into a cup, add the dark brown sugar, and stir.
  • Enjoy your Starbucks Coconutmilk Cascara Latte.

Notes

  • You can use the Starbucks by Nespresso Espresso Roast capsules in place of the Starbucks Espresso Roast ground coffee for an authentic café-style espresso.
  • If you do not have an espresso machine, you can use a stovetop Moka pot to brew your coffee. Do this by pouring boiling water into the pot until it reaches just below the safety valve. Let the water cool for 30 seconds before adding 1½ tbsp. of coffee. Secure the filter and rubber gasket and heat on medium-low heat. You will hear a soft, bubbling sound when the coffee is ready.
  • You can replace the coconut milk with any other milk according to your preference.
  • I prefer a hot drink, but you can have it cold by allowing the espresso shot and steamed coconut milk to cool, then adding ice.
