Notes

  1. I add vanilla extract to my recipe for a creamier taste, but it is optional.
  2. If your drink has a thicker consistency, you can add cream to the milk.
  3. If you are completely vegan, you can swap the milk and syrup for vegan ones though the taste is not the same.
  4. If you want a caffeinated drink, you can add a shot of espresso to it to get that caffeine boost.
  5. If you love your drink sweet, you can add sweeteners to it
  6. If you want to reduce the calorie count, skip the whipped cream and opt for skim or non-fat milk instead of half and half.
  7. If you want additional toppings or change them entirely, you can bake sugar until brown and break it into bits on top of your drink. Alternatively, you can use a cookie and break it into bits also.
  8. A blender comes in handy in this recipe, but a handheld mixture would also do if you don't have one.
