Almond extract
1 cup brown sugar
½ cup water
Instructions
In your saucepan, combine the water and brown sugar and bring to a boil on the stove.
Stir continuously to prevent scorching.
Add the almond extract to the mixture to your preferred strength after cooling. You can start with 1 teaspoon and refrigerate.
Notes
You should use your homemade almond syrup within one week.
