Molten Chocolate Latte Copycat recipe

Kai Jordan

Equipment

  • Saucepan
  • Whisk

Ingredients

  • 12fl oz. reduced-fat milk
  • 2 espresso shot
  • 2 tablespoons of chocolate chips
  • Whipped cream
  • 2 tablespoons of mocha syrup
  • 2 tablespoons of chocolate syrup.

Instructions

  • In the saucepan, heat the milk until steamy and transfer it into a huge mug, and with a whisk, froth the milk until perfectly frothy.
  • Into your latte mug, pour the hot espresso shots, add the chocolate chips, and let them melt.
  • Pour the frothed milk over the chocolate-flavored espresso and add the mocha syrup into the latte.
  • Garnish the latte with whipped cream and drizzle chocolate syrup over the whipped cream. Enjoy.

Notes

  • If reduced-fat milk isn’t your favorite, use any other kind of milk to prepare this latte. Note that dairy is the best option for a creamier and thicker latte.
  • Use as many espresso shots depending on how strong you want your latte, and also, feel free to use your favorite roast type.
  • If you can access mocha and espresso-infused whipped cream, use that instead of regular whipped cream.
  • For authentic Starbucks flavors, use the Starbucks mocha syrup to prepare this drink.
  • Prepare the latte with as many chocolate chips as you want, depending on how rich you want the chocolate flavors.
