Yes, Starbucks has numerous keto-friendly drinks available both in-store and on the Starbucks app. I recently got onto the keto diet and being a regular at Starbucks, one of the challenges I faced was figuring out which Starbucks drinks are keto-friendly and which ones would take me out of ketosis. After talking to several Starbucks baristas, I learned of various drinks from the coffeehouse that are keto-friendly and how you can order them. To learn more about these drinks, keep reading.

Drip, iced or cold brew coffee.
Starbucks drip, iced or cold brew coffees are all prepared with brewed coffee made from 100% dark roasted Arabica coffee beans. They can be ordered both in-store and from the Starbucks app. To order in-store, ask the barista for a drip, iced or cold brew coffee (whichever you want) and mention the size and the number of espresso shots you’d like in the beverage.
These beverages are sold in four sizes; tall (12fl oz.), grande (16fl oz.), venti (24fl oz.) and trenta (30fl oz.) and they are also available as hot beverages. Several roast options are offered. Customization is allowed in these coffees, where you get to choose the number of espresso shots you want in your drink. The calories of these coffees are typically around 5 and 0g of sugar, 0g of fat and 0g of carbs making them the perfect keto pick-me-ups.
Hot or cold coffee with sugar-free syrup.
Starbucks hot and cold coffees are typically prepared with brewed espresso and milk and they are also keto-approved provided that they are sweetened with sugar-free syrup. Starbucks only offers sugar-free syrups in the vanilla flavour. For the milk, be sure to ask the barista to replace the default milk with keto-approved milk like almond, coconut, soy or oat milk. A Starbucks caffé breve or caffé misto is prepared with milk and brewed espresso. For a keto beverage, opt out of the 2% milk and request keto-approved milk or a splash of breve (half and half). So, to order at Starbucks, ask the barista for a short caffé Misto with almond, coconut, oat or soy milk or a splash of breve and mention the number of espresso shots you’d like. Besides the short size, this beverage is also available in tall, grande or venti and is also sold on the Starbucks app.
Grande almond flat white.
The Starbucks almond flat white is a keto-approved beverage made with almond milk and brewed espresso. For a keto almond flat white at Starbucks, ask the barista for a grande almond flat white and mention the number of espresso shots you’d like in the beverage. Typically, this beverage is sweetened with vanilla syrup. If you want your keto version sweetened, ask the barista to replace the vanilla syrup with 2 pumps of sugar-free vanilla syrup. You can order the Starbucks keto almond flat white from the app too.
Tall low-carb mocha.
Traditionally, a mocha at Starbucks is made with brewed espresso, milk, mocha sauce and whipped cream. To order a low-carb, keto mocha from the coffeehouse ask the barista for a tall mocha with heavy cream or coconut milk instead of 2% milk and a skinny mocha sauce instead of regular mocha sauce. Additionally, let them know the number of espresso shots you want. This beverage can be customized and also be ordered on the Starbucks app and in a short, grande or venti size.
