Equipment

  • Saucepan

Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup hot water
  • 1 ½ cup ice cubes
  • 1 hibiscus tea bag
  • 1 Tazo passion tea bag
  • 1 green tea bag
  • 1 cup frozen berries
  • 2 tablespoons simple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons raspberry syrup
  • 2 lime wheels

Instructions
 

  • To prepare the base drink, boil ½ cup of water in a saucepan and transfer it into a teapot. Place the passion tea bag in the teapot and let it steep for about 5 minutes, then transfer the passion tea into a pitcher.
  • Boil the remaining water and transfer it to the teapot; put both hibiscus and green tea bags in, and let them steep for about 5 minutes.
  • Pour the hibiscus tea into the pitcher and mix the two teas gently.
  • Add all the other ingredients into the pitcher, except ice cubes and frozen berries, and stir thoroughly until perfectly mixed.
  • Let the mixture cool to room temperature.
  • Fill about ¾ of two glasses with ice cubes and frozen berries and then pour the cooled tea over; garnish the drink with lime wheels and enjoy.

  • Use any brand of tea bags you have.
  • The amount of syrup in your iced tea is up to you, depending on how sweet and flavorful you want your iced tea to be.
  • Use as many frozen berries as you prefer.
