Starbucks Peppermint syrup (What you need to know: why can’t Starbucks get peppermint syrup + More)

Starbucks is not only known for its amazing beverages but also for its large variety of syrups available, that you can use to customize your drink to your liking. One of these syrups is peppermint syrup. I decided to spruce up my normal morning coffee order with peppermint syrup for some freshness, but I found that the Starbucks sugar-free peppermint syrup had been discontinued since November 2017. The reason behind this is that it was not as popular with the customers as hoped for. This meant that I could not add it to my drink, and therefore had to choose another option.

The barista suggested the Peppermint Mocha drink, which I thought was only available during the festive season, but you can find it all year-round. This drink has the peppermint syrup infused into it already, plus melted chocolate, which is one of my favorite combos. Regardless, I still had my peppermint-flavored drink.
