- 250g Hazelnuts
- 500g water
- 500g Rapadura
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 320F and roast the hazelnuts until you get a sweet aroma and the color begins to change.
- Remove the nuts from the oven and put them in a bowl. Take your two dishwash cloths and agitate the nuts until the cover comes off.
- Place the nuts into a mixing bowl and whiz for 5 seconds at a speed of 4. In your saucepan, pour the Rapadura and water and bring them to a boil. Add the hazelnuts and let the mixture boil. Keep stirring to avoid burn.
- Strain the remaining mixture until all the nuts are removed and let it cool. Leave it in the refrigerator for 24 hours.
