Ingredients
  

  • 1 16-ounce can of coconut milk
  • ¾ cup of water
  • 5 dates
  • 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon almond extract

Instructions
 

  • Pour the water into the small cooking pot and bring it to a boil.
  • Remove the pits/seeds from the dates and add them to the boiling water.
  • Leave the dates to boil for one minute until soft, then remove them from the water.
  • Add the softened dates to the food processor and blender. Add the coconut milk, cocoa powder, and almond extract, then blend thoroughly until well combined. The mixture should be smooth and creamy.
  • Pour into a glass jar and store in the refrigerator for seven to ten days.

  • If you don’t have almond extract, you can use vanilla extract instead. The almond extract brings out the nutty flavor, though.
