Mark and Adam Lowes are the owners of LDU coffee; after experimenting with the coffee business in Australia for nearly a decade, the brothers decided to try their luck in the United States after one of their customers visiting from the US suggested that the coffeehouse chain would be a success in the West.

The first LDU coffee store in the United States was opened in 2017. The shop is located on North Fitzhugh Avenue in East Dallas; the second store was opened in 2019 in University Park; the third store was opened in 2021 by White Rock Lake.  

When was LDU coffee founded?

LDU was founded in 2017 by the Lowes brothers, Mark and Adam. During their visit to Texas, the brothers decided to establish LDU coffee after identifying a niche in the Texan coffeehouse chain market.

What are the delivery options for LDU coffee?

LDU coffee works with delivery partners such as Uber Eats to deliver your favorite LDU food item or beverage to your doorstep. All you have to do is, log into the Uber Eats website or use the Uber Eats app to order your favorite LDU coffee food item or drink.

What are the payment options while ordering LDU coffee for delivery?

Uber eats accepts many payment options;

• Debit and credit cards. You can pay for a food item or beverage you ordered at the LDU coffee with your American Express, Visa, Discovery, or MasterCard. Scan your card in the Uber Eats app or enter your card information manually. You might find it easier to manually fill in your card information than scan it on the app.

If possible, pay for your order using a credit card instead of a debit card because the former has a better consumer protection policy.

• Apple pay. You can also pay for the items you ordered at LDU coffee through Apple Pay. Ensure that your Apple Pay is linked to the Uber Eats app. If your Apple Pay is already set up on your phone, it will be easier for you to pay for your Uber Eats order with it than using a credit or debit card.  
• PayPal. You can pay for items you order via Uber Eats using PayPal. Make sure your Uber Eats and PayPal accounts are linked.
• Venmo. You can use Venmo to pay for items you order at LDU coffee via Uber Eats. However, you have to link Uber Eats to your Venmo account. After connecting the two, you can use your Venmo balance to pay for anything you order at LDU coffee via Uber Eats.
• Gift cards. If you have an Uber Eats gift card, you can use it to pay for the items you order from LDU coffee via Uber Eats. During checkout, choose a gift card as your preferred payment option. Fill in all fields (gift card security code and account number) to finalize the transaction.
• Uber Eats Credits. You can also use your Uber Eats credits to pay for food items and drinks you order at LDU coffee via Uber Eats.

Note Uber Eats does not accept cash payments. The delivery company accepts cash payments in other countries but not in the US. Therefore, if you make any order at LDU coffee via Uber Eats, make sure to pay via any of the payment methods I have listed above.
