Next, remove the charcoal filters and the gold-tone permanent filter.
Add your descaling solution to a full carafe of water.
Then, pour the solution into the machine’s water reservoir and place the now empty carafe in its position.
Press the Clean button. The light above the button will immediately start flashing, indicating that it is time to begin descaling your machine.
Press the Brew button to start the deep cleaning process.
Once the process is done, the flashing green light will turn off.
At this point, empty the water reservoir and rinse it thoroughly using clean water. To do this, fill the reservoir with a full carafe of freshwater and press the Brew button to flush the machine. Do this twice while using clean cold water.

Note that once the descaling cycle has started, you cannot stop it until it is finished. If the cycle begins in error, remove the water reservoir and press the Clean button again. After a few seconds, your machine will blink, and the green LED light will go off.
