Starbucks discontinued its production of Verismo pods in December 2020. This came as a shock to many Starbucks loyalists like myself who were fast to buy the Starbucks Verismo machine. The fact that I could make my favorite Starbucks coffee at home was a dream come true. But then, Starbucks discontinued the Verismo pods, and I was left stuck with my Verismo machine.

What are Starbucks Verismo Pods?
Starbucks Verismo pods are small, sealed cans of coffee designed specially to work with Verismo coffee brewers. They contain high-quality Arabica coffee beans that are ground, roasted, and packaged fresh to help coffee lovers create instant coffee.
Starbucks created these pods to enable customers to re-create their favorite roasts and flavors using the Verismo machines. The pods can replicate the signature Starbucks coffees and espresso at the touch of a button.
However, Starbucks discontinued making the pods as of December 2020. This was also the same time they discontinued making the Verismo machines.
What can I use instead of Starbucks Verismo pods?
Instead of Starbucks Verismo pods, you can use K-Fee coffee pods, Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf pods, or a reusable Verismo pod. When Starbucks stopped producing Verismo pods, many Verismo machine owners such as myself were stranded. We were left with the task of looking for pods that are not only compatible with the Verismo machine but also ones that can produce Starbucks coffee.
