What is Starbucks’ mask policy?
The Covid pandemic has been one of the deadliest pandemics ever to hit the world, as it claims enormous numbers of lives. To try and curb it while treating those that have already contracted the virus, all public offices, schools, stores, and even restaurants were advised to introduce the mask policy. Like any other food store, Starbucks implemented its mask policy, as they serve a vast population of people in the United States.
In their mask policy that started early this year, Starbucks required every customer visiting any of their stores to put on a mask to prevent the spread of the deadly coronavirus. In their policy, Starbucks stated that it was their mandate to protect the people working there, their customers, and even the community by making sure they o not expose them to Covid whatsoever. You should also note that you are still required to put on your mask just like others, even if you have already received your total dose of Covid.
Starbucks also stated that from the 5th of August this year, all their employees would be required to put on their masks full-time, as long as they are on shift. We have seen that the mask policy has worked and is continuing to work, as cases of Starbucks customers and workers contracting the virus are very few to none.
Can I drink inside Starbucks with my mask off?
No. Currently, Starbucks does not offer any dining-in services, meaning that you cannot eat your food or have your drink from inside Starbucks. Additionally, it would be a waste of mask policy if Starbucks customers were allowed to wear their masks while visiting their stores and take them off to eat or drink. A Starbucks customer will only be entitled to enjoy their drink inside Starbucks when the mask policy is lifted.
